Video Logs (Vlogs)
Web logs or Blogs have become an important communication medium in the modern connected world. Some Blogs have been primary sources for news for some broadcasted news reports.
Video Logs or Vlogs as they have become known are in many ways similar to Blogs, but they give more of a visual element. They are short movies that are published to websites on a regular basis to get an audience for thoughts, news or experiences. This would be a fairly easy task for a group of children to manage on a daily or weekly basis.
The child or children being filmed could give up to date news of the day’s or week’s events. These could range from football reports, to book reviews, to an explanation of the week’s homework.
The key thing about Vlogs is to keep them short, keep them lively, and keep them updated on a regular basis.
In the main, a Vlog movie would need to be small and short to make it easy and quick for people to download and view.
